At Unique Boutique Travel we choose to fly with British Airways. We appreciate their experience in the airline industry and the level of service they provide for their Premium Economy and Business Class customers.
Executive Club.
The Executive Club is the British Airways reward programme for anyone who loves to travel. It’s free to join and you can start accumulating benefits immediately.
Executive Club benefits include:
Special member-only deals and offers.
· Your own user profile to save personal details and preferences for future bookings.
· Collect Avios points to spend on rewards.
· Earn Tier Points to move through the Executive club tiers and gain access to further benefits.
Executive Club Frequent Flyers gain further benefits including:
· Priority boarding for Bronze Members.
· Lounge access for Silver Members.
· First Class Lounge access and spa treatments for Gold Members.
What are the Executive Club tiers?
Blue.
When you join the Executive Club you begin at Blue level which allows you to earn and redeem Avios points. These are points which you can use to book or upgrades flights. Once you start flying on qualifying flights you start to accumulate tier points in addition to Avios. Tier points allow you to move through the different tiers of the Executive Club with each tier providing additional benefits.
Bronze.
The next tier up from Blue is Bronze. To qualify for Bronze you need to complete a minimum of 2 eligible flights and accumulate 300 Tier points. In addition to the benefits gained at Blue level, at Bronze, you are able to books seats free of charge seven days before departure, priority boarding and check-in and a 25% bonus on Avios.
Silver.
Silver membership is where the benefits really start to pay off. To attain a Silver card you need to complete 4 eligible flights and accumulate 600 Tier points. Benefits include:
· Club Lounge access even when travelling in Economy class.
· Free seat selection at time of booking (excluding exit row seats on long haul flights).
· Priority boarding and check in.
· 50% bonus on Avios.
· A checked baggage allowance of two pieces in economy for everyone on your booking.
· A weight allowance of 32kg per checked bag in any travel class for everyone on your booking.
Gold.
Gold membership is attained at 1500 Tier points. The benefits include:
· Club Lounge access even when travelling in Economy class.
· 100% bonus on Avios.
· Complimentary spa treatments when on long haul flights out of London Heathrow or New York JFK.
· first class check-in desks and priority boarding.
Tier Points.
It is important to note that Tier points expire and without regular travel, you could find that you retreat to one of the lower levels. There is a Tier and Avios Point Calculator on the British Airways website that can help you select flights that may earn enough points to move you to the next level. If you are travelling often for business it is quite possible to maintain a Silver card using Economy flights. However, if you are only travelling a handful of times a year for pleasure attaining the 600 points will be next to impossible. Flying Business or Premium Economy is a good way to increase the number of Tier points per flight. Typically, a short-haul Business Class flight in Europe will earn 80 Tier points return.
